Performance Coaching offers individually tailored performance coaching which is highly effective in bringing about lasting, significant and positive change.  Performance coaching is focused on defining agreed performance goals, understanding the factors which impact on performance, implementing strategies which address performance gaps, and maintaining motivation to achieve goals.

This workshop is designed to understand how to coach and mentor others in the workplace.  Managing others in the workplace holds people accountable.  Coaching others in the workplace helps people to 'self manage'.  A far more cost effective, efficient and great workplace culture develops from a coaching culture.  So how do you coach and mentor others in the workplace?

This is a facilitated session, using real life case studies.  It also cover internal investigation techniques, problem solving and workplace improvement strategies that can be applied immediately into any workplace.

EVERYTHING DiSC PROFILING AND COACHING

DiSC® is an acronym for the four primary dimensions of behaviour:

  • Dominance:  direct, results-orientated, strong willed and forceful

  • Influence:  outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic and lively

  • Steadiness:  even-tempered, accommodating, patient and humble

  • Conscientiousness:  analytical, reserved, precise and systematic.

Because DiSC profiles describe behavioural style, they are ideal tools for the work environment.  While measuring a person's personality type can be helpful, we can't really ask that person to change their personality.  It is appropriate however for an organisation to ask people to adapt their behaviour to become more effective in the work environment.

In particular, managers and leaders become more adaptable when they understand the impact of their behaviour on the work environment, and the impact that environment has on employee engagement, commitment and productivity.  They learn to adapt the way they communicate and relate to the different motivational needs of the people they work with.

The most recent DiSC profiles from Wiley are application specific.  These tools don't just provide the individual with an understanding of their own behavioural style, their profile gives them specific application strategies for improving communication, relationships and results with others of different styles.
